Hello family and friends!!
Seriously every single day is so full of miracles big and small. It kind of blows my mind!!
Edgar, who we gave a Book of Mormon to last Monday, read 70 pages by Saturday, came to church, and is doing so great! He told us that the 16th is all he can think about. He loves the Book of Mormon and the ward was excellent in welcoming him. I can smell the cigarettes on his breath, so we will get to work on that as soon as possible. His roommate is also great and his ex-wife came to church with him.
Gustavo is also doing great! He missed church, he had to work, but he is progressing very well. Teaching him the plan of salvation was a beautiful moment and he has tremendous understanding of the scriptures. He lost his wife very tragically and just loves every lesson. And his cousin also is great, though I haven´t met him because my companion and I took out new missionaries on Tuesday night and my companion went and taught the WHOLE lesson by herself!!!
Rosa was doing excellent, then called and blew up about the tiniest things, but the Elders say that she has done that with every set of missionaries she´s had.
Well I had the biggest hamburger I have ever had, and I split it and it was still huge. Other than that, things are just going great! I love Barcelona and the members here are excellent.
I´ve begun a 40 day fast to take away anything that pulls my heart, might, mind, or strength out of the work. It´s hard. wow, but I can already feel the power of Christ carrying me! I love my savior and I am so thankful to be apart of his army!!
I am loving sharing the #iluminaelmundo and I challenge you all to go share it with someone and really feel the world with love this Christmas! There is no better time to share the gospel! I love you all!
