MUY Agradacida
Happy Thanksgiving!!
We postponed our celebration to Saturday for a Peruvian Barbecue which was just a mountain of meat and some non-alcoholic beer. I am so grateful for the word of wisdom. That was disgusting but the food was delicious. But wow. I was so full! The members here are literally so great! I love them so much! Our Brazilian member Dirce (from Curitiba... or however you spell that haha), made us feijoada!!! Yumm! Except definitely a new experience eating pig ear and pig feet... haha. She also likes to pile our plates high.
As for the area, just the most amazing things are happening!
Thanks to WhatsApp we have much better contact with everyone. We are loving being able to send videos and links. It is so helpful in moving forward this great work!
Yesterday, we finally got to meet with Gustavo. He's been a point on our map and several failed attempts to meet with him, but finally we got to meet with him yesterday. A member came with us and she is a returned missionary and she was a joy to teach with! They also live very close and they are both from Honduras and she took him right in and invited him to church. I love member

missionaries!!! It makes all the difference. Well Gustavo is well experienced in the church. He went quite a bit in his country and loved the Book of Mormon, and was so happy to get a new one! He is so excited about everything and is now preparing to be baptized on the 16th of December!! He said he is going to carry with him everywhere and read whenever he can. All because we sent everyone a message on WhatsApp to invite them to church.
Rosa, my little Catalunyan grandma, is doing well and has reselected the day of the 9th for her baptism. She knows the book of mormon is true and loves the church. Our biggest obsticle is her heath. And with the remodels on her piso, she's been bed riden, but on the mend!
Edgar was a street contact this week and said the prayer after the intial contact! Then we brought him a Book of Mormon and he too is excitedly preparing for the 16th!
So many miracles, it is like I can barely stop to recognize all the amazing things that Heavenly Father blesses me with!
This week in my studies of Preach My Gospel chapter 6, I learned so much about Christ like attributes in the work. I love my Savior and I have really come to know him so much more. I am grateful for the hard days, because it allows me to appriciate just how much He really went through for me. And for you. And it just motivates to work harder and to show my love to Him.
Thank you for all the prayers!!! Love you all so much!!!
