L´Hospitalet Miracles

Hello!

With all the finding and teaching we´ve been doing, we unfortunately have seen many choose to use their agency to not progress and not keep there commitments. It is hard because you just know how much it could bless their lives, BUT it has just given us more room to trust that God will lead us to do his work. And wow. MIRACLES!!!!

First, blessing from being in Catalunya and technology.

I´ve stayed in touch with Carolina from Barc and she has sought and found much comfort in the messages and conference talks in the application and that I have messaged her. So this week we organized a visit so she can meet with the Elders that are where she now lives. It was such a happy reunion. We talked about the Gospel and Baptism and she says she wants to be baptized, but it is really hard for her to let go of her traditions, BUT she went to church yesterday!! So we are making progress!! I am so grateful she is back with the missionaries!

Another technology miracle. Thanks to google translate a chinese man that speaks no english or spanish came to church after just a street contact and whatsapp messages. Then we discovered that he lives in the ayudantes´ area which is the only area I know of that has a CHINESE MEMBER!!!

Through google translate, James told me how even though he has no idea anything that was being said, he really liked how he felt and he wants to come back. As testimony meeting was ending, he asked if he could get up on stage and we could read what he wrote, but it ended and that was that haha. We are getting him in contact with the elders and it was neat to see the miracles of technology.

Contacting one night as all of our visits fired, we met Jaz. She is the most intelligent, accomplished, hardworking 15 year old and speaks perfect english. She was on her way home and was so intrigued and excited about meeting us, that she invited us to walk with her and to come and meet her mom. They are from Peru and as I walked in I just felt so much love for them. Jaz is very busy this week GRADUATING and things, but she is very excited to meet next week. The first thing she starts saying to us is all the things that the Restoration of the Gospel answers, and so we explained that to her and she called us angels. She wants to serve as a medical missionary, but I already see her with a chapa as a missionary of God. We have to practice patience, but I am excited for what is to come.

Alonso is still in contact with us, but he also got a job and we haven´t been able to meet with him. He continues to read but is very busy... He will get there.

We´ve been seeing a lot of excitement among the members to share the book of mormon and we´ve received a few references as well so we are excited!

This week I was reflecting on Ether and the creativity and amazing faith of the brother of Jared, and I have found that the closer I am to the spirit, he guides me to try new things and he gives me the words to bless these people and get them as excited as I am about the gospel.

I am just loving working with Hermana Johnson! She is so positive and faithful and we are praying she stays here for her last transfer!

I know this is God´s work. And I love it with all that I have! I am so grateful for your love and support and I hope you all go out and lose yourselves in service this week!
