Hello!
We worked so hard this week. We have 8 investigators on fecha and we are finding so many more! I just got word that a man i contacted on my final night is getting baptized this week up in Barcelona!!
We had some interesting experiences this week.
We met this person on the bus one day, who I thought was just a very feminine man, but turns out he is changing to a she in June. We had a cita with her this week and wow, it was powerful. She loved it and was so excited to read the book of Mormon. I have no clue how all that works but i just had the strongest feeling that God's love is not limited.
I learn so much from everyone's stories. Wow. God really does work through the small and the simple, even 19 year old girls, young and inexperienced and very blessed to do His work.
I am so humbled.
As far as my Muslim African friends go, they are so great. They are reading the Book of Mormon and have a fecha in June!!! As far as I know, Muslims, at least from Ghana, are safe (from retribution if they decide to join the church). We went to pick them up for church but they didn't wake up, and the metro was slow, which made us a tiny bit late and I had to speak haha. But all went well. I spoke on Eternal Families and something my mom always taught me is to always keep the temple in your sights, so I offered that challenge to the ward, to always have a picture of the temple where you will see it everyday. I know the temple is the literal House of God, and I am eternally grateful for the millions of blessings from the temple!
Angeles is amazing, she is eating up the Book of Mormon and loves church. She works a lot so we cant meet with her quite as often. She's a Spaniard and always calls me her sweetheart.
I went on intercambios this week and tracked into some men from a mental hospital. The next day the sister training leaders came back with some super creepy crayon drawings of me and Hermana Aguilar... not quite sure what to think haha.
Jose Maria and Esperanza are darling! Only problem they are very young and live together. So we are praying and fasting that they will have the strength to move out or get married. Esperanza is my age and though its tough with the language at times, we are still surprising tight. I love it :)
Vitalia and Alberta are amazing Bolivian woman that we met in a park one day. Its amazing to see Vitalia go from not believing anything really strongly to reading the Book of Mormon and deciding to find out for herself.
I love teaching people to pray, because it is literally teaching them how to talk to God. Prayer has always been something I can depend on. Especially here in the field. There is a reason missionaries pray so much, I literally cant do anything without His help. I cannot change anyone's lives, only He can. I know the church is true and is the only true church. I know God lives and that He sent His Son for each and every one of us. I love the love I feel for everyone I meet, thanks to Him.
I hope you all have the best week. Love you all!!
