Hola!

Summer is coming fast. I just can't wait for full force heat come July and  August ;) I walk outside and between the humidity, the sun, and the lack of a breeze it's just dandy. But really, heat and all, I love Valencia!

God's hand is in all things! One day most of our citas had fired and we were walking over to a passby, when I thought of an old investigator that we met several weeks ago. His name is George and he is from Ghana and owns a bar. I mentioned him and we decided to go visit. We walked in and he wasn't busy so he asked what the topic of the day was and sat us down. The conversation naturally led itself into the restoration. We came to the part about Joseph Smith and the spirit prompted me to show the new "Ask of God" First vision video. The spirit was so beautiful, and even more so, his faith was incredible! He told us he believed, so we asked what he was willing to do and he said anything. We taught about keeping the sabbath and how it is a commandment. And he committed to tell his client's that he won't be opening next week so he can come to church and spend time with his family. It was remarkable. And even more sweet was when we swung in as we were walking by one day and he told up he is reading the Book of Mormon and still committed to closing and coming on Sunday.

I love the power of the spirit and seeing people act in faith!

We made arrepas with our Venezualian investigators. That was fun! They are amazing people. We have been practicing English with them, and haven't had much time to teach them, so their progress is a bit slower.

We found some wonderful people this week that are prepared! Exciting things to come.

The elders had a baptism and it was so beautiful to talk to him on sunday about his experience. He asked the elders at the beginning of the week if he could be baptized that saturday. He talked about how amazing and happy he felt. He also talked about how excited he was for his new life. I love seeing the blessings of the gospel bless others as they have blessed me.

I know the gospel is true! I know God lives. I know He loves us, so He provided a way home. I know Christ suffered all things and only in Him I am strong. I feel the power of the atonement so much as I do His work.

Thank you all for your love, support and prayers in my behalf!
Love you!!
