Pray I don't get I don't get tranfered!

So many miracles! And here's just a few ;)

Jheimy is just thriving! I adore her. She has been such a strength. She was asking me if she could volunteer to have a calling haha. And she wants to go on the temple trip this October, and she is already asking what she needs to do to prepare for the temple next year. Oh I love her. She actually reminds me a lot of me and her sister, Maritza is a lot like my companion.

We had an incredible lesson with them on Friday. Jheimy taught us all of lesson 1 perfectly, then told us her conversion story, then Maritza told us about how she too knows it is true. She was praying one day and had a feeling to ask for forgiveness and as she was showering and getting ready, she felt God's love for her for the first time in her life and she began crying. What a difference from Monday to when we saw her at the activity on Thursday, it was like night and day, so to hear that Friday was just the greatest thing in the world. The spirit just energized the whole room and I just felt so much peace and love and light. She said she wants to be baptized and was going to pray about the date.

...but Satan knows what she is doing is right and hit her hard. Sunday, she seemed down again, and left right after Sacrament to go to work. Jheimy told me she read something on the internet and now thinks Joseph Smith isn't a prophet and all that jazz (but she still came to church, so obviously she wants to believe!) Jheimy told me how she wants her sister to know the only reliable source is prayer. We have a lesson with them tonight.

Edward didn't get baptized or come to church. He ended up having to work yesterday. He is making progress, and he knows it is true. He just seems hesitant to give his whole heart over. We're still working, we just want to be sure he knows what it means before he makes this covenant. He also had about 30 people from an Evangelical church come lecture him about why not to be baptized. But he is firm that he knows this is the true church!

We have been blessed with many member references!
One is a paralympic (like Olympics for paralized people... don't know how to spell that...). His name is Jyosuart and basically went to church from age 5-18 but his dad didn't let him get baptized. He wants to be baptized, but has refused to set a fecha yet. He is reading the book of mormon and loves church and lives with his member Aunt and Uncle! He had his leg amputated 4 years ago when he was 26, and is divorced, but still believes in love and family and is such a happy man. He knows God is incharge and that it is a choice to be happy. He has wrote a book about his life, but doesn't want to finish it, because he just keeps adding things and he said he wanted to add this in too.

Rafael, street contact then come to find out is practically dating a member. He told us he wants to be baptized too! He used to be an alcoholic, bum on the street, but told us how he overcame that with God and now is a humanitarian and is set on coming to church forever.

So many more miracles (like a Bolivian street contact that is going to make us feijoada because I told her my grandma is brazilian how much I missed it. haha, we are going to her house wednesday.)

There is still more to say, but I'll end this weeks novel by saying:
I know, I KNOW, that this is God's church and has been restored with the fullness of the gospel. I know that this is His work. I could not be happier to be right here right now. I love my Savior and invite all to turn to Him! By scriptures and by prayer, we can Know Him!

I love you all! Have the best week!

Love, your ever happy,
Hermana Read
