Hello!
My favorite thing in the entire world is teaching the Plan of Salvation to someone who just soaks it right in. Edward is doing incredibly! We taught him the plan of salvation and even discussed the temple and Baptisms for the dead, and he also love to talk about the gathering of the 12 tribes. He is willing to do whatever it takes to change his life and it is the most beautiful thing to see how much he has already changed! He will be baptized on the 26th!!
We, by the hand of God, met this family from Peru on the street. We were late to a cita, but we still stopped to talk to a family that had just barely pulled up and gotten out of their car. God's timing is literally perfect. Catholic man, but just loved what we had to say, and we invited them to church and THEY CAME!! They have two adorable kids about ages 4 and 2. They are very busy throughout the week, but we are excited to meet with them this weekend. They loved it, and from a distance I saw him with the Book of mormon we had given them on the street asking a member questions very intently.
One day we were walking with our ward mission leader headed to a cita. We walked passed this woman and her daughter, but we all felt the need to turn around and talk to her. She is from Ecuador, and was very quite but very open. We invited them to come to the activity with us on thursday, and when they walked up with her husband, it was a man I had contacted back in MAY! We have had occational phone contact and a plethera of fired citas, but by a miracle we had contacted his wife!!! They loved the activity.
The baptism of Maria has really softed the heart of her eternigador (eternally investigating) father! He has been investigating for almost 10 years. We ran into him and a friend of his on the street yesterday and another friend came up. His friend was muslim, but has known him since he moved to Spain and was living with them when the missionaries first started to visit them. And then proceeded to chew him out (in a best friend manner) for not being baptized already! I am positive it was the greatest thing I've ever witnessed in my life. We had a good laugh, but I think it really made an impact on him. He even invited his other friend to a FHE we will have with their family. He's already doing missionary work! His birthday is coming up, and I think a baptism as well. ;)
So very many exciting things! I love my companion and my area! Everyday is such an honor and a gift. I put on my chapa, get to work, and Heavenly Father has just blessed me with a plethera of blessings.
We explored the city of Valencia a bit today, climbed a tower, had the usual Llao Llao (frozen yogurt) and rested up a bit.
I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is perfect. I know it has been restored and because of that, we have guidence from a living prophet and the peace of knowing what comes next: if we are faithfull we WILL live with our families and our loving Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ. I know it, and live it, and Love more than anything sharing it!
Thank you for all the prayers, they are working miracles. I promise.
I love you all!
Hasta luego!
