God is Real

Hola a todos!

I have seen more miracles this week than I could even begin to tell you about!

We had 6 investigators come to church yesterday just from our area and the elder's and MEMBERS also brought friends! Oh it was marvelous.

God really has been leading our every footstep. The people we are teaching right now are incredibly prepared. Definitely an answer to my daily prayer to find the prepared.

I love my companion! Hermana McBride and I were just fast friends and we work very well together! She is from Indiana, but speaks Spanish incredibly. She lived in Spain for a bit while she was young. She is very smart, and hilarious! We played with my suction cups this week and they left some bruises, but we just had a good laugh!

One miracle from this week: we met some Africans while we were playing sports (we play futbol and basketball every Saturday with ward members and investigators). They are from Ghanea equitorial so they speak Spanish in case you were wondering. AND just so y'all know they said I'm "not too bad for a girl" then proceeded to do rainbows and crazy, Camden-worthy tricks. But we set a cita with them and showed up to find they weren't their, but his sister was :) Oh Lydia is excellent. Like so many others she really is searching. We are very excited to go back and teach her (and her brother too!)!

Edward is a young man I contacted on a bench just over a week ago, and he came to an activity and to church and the ward just absorbed him! It was fantastic! He loves it! We have only given him a Book of Mormon and not even had a chance to teach anything, but by coincidence learned about the word of wisdom in Sunday School and was super okay with it. I have a feeling he will be getting baptized very soon, so stay tuned.

Chary has been meeting with investigators for ages and we finally got her to come to Church!! She really enjoyed it, but had to leave after sacrament meeting.

We went from cita to cita this week. It was nice to get off the streets.

Low on time, but I just want you all to remember God loves you. He has a Plan, and will always give you the strength you need. Pray to him, lean on him, and let his grace and mercy fill your life as it has filled mine.

Con mucho amor,
Hermana Read
