Buenas tardes!
We wondered out to the Lladro factory today. It was incredible. We god to see the full process and the artist painting each peice by hand and forming the flowers one petal at a time. Those artists have been working for about 40 years and have specialized. Super neat!
As for the work, all is going well! A few bumps, but patience and diiligence have always been a requitement right? :)
Hna McBride is up by Barcelona and Hna McConkie came from Palma (the islands). She finishes in November, so this is her last area. She works hard right along with me. She is a cute red head that really is teaching me so much! She teaches from her heart and is always grateful. I love how openly we discuss and analyze our teaching. I am so excited for all the growth and the hard work that the transfer brings. Oh and the miracles of course!!
We did see Vivi on the street, but haven't been able to teach her. She's been out with friends when we pass by. All in God's time. We have so many amazing new investigators and many progressing.
Yosuart is so excited for the 23rd and is diligent in his preparations. He lives with his member aunt and uncle and told us how he's already living the Word of Wisdom and doesn't miss any of it, in fact has already received great blessings for living it. Without any prompt he brought up the law of Chastity and his worries for the future. He is living it, but he is looking for a wife, so he is nervous, but we were able to testify of the power of the Spirit and the power of prayerfully placing limits so we never have to live without the protection of the spirit. He confidently said he will live it. He loves families and knows that it will bless his future family.
I have a feeling he will be a great leader in the church, and I have the incredible blessing to have a front row seat it the greatest miracle of all. The miracle of the change that comes through conversion.
Edward... is gonna take more time. We are going to have him set his own fecha. He knows it's true, but isn't making it to church, so we are going to hold off until he is converted in action as well as in word.
Eldemira (Jheimy and Maritza's mom) is so prepared!! We had a beautiful lesson about the BoM and Prayer as an actual conversation with God, and she said her first unrecited prayer and it was such a beautiful heart warming moment. She is committed to know for herself and loves the changes she has seen in Jheimy. I love families!! Maritza has been working a lot, but we will get with her soon! I think her mom will be a great help for her.
She is great conversational teacher which really helps me because I have noticed some robotic ticks that with her example I am really working on! We are working hard as ever! We found 19 new investigators this week. I know God is guiding us every day!! It is remarkable to see my setting apart blessing come to life. Like moths to a flame people will be drawn to the light of Christ through me. It is such an honor to be His instrument! In a study of Spiritual Gifts, I was able to recognize those I have been blessed with and those that I have been blessed with the opportunity to develop. I am really working and being completely dependent on Christ (which is hard, because I am a pretty independent person haha) But I am working on putting Ether 12:27 to the test, and welcome all to join me.
I love my savior and I know His love never ends.
