Home (to Barc :D) and Back on the Island Again

Today we took a trip to Las Cuevas de Drach (some really famous caves here in Mallorca). They were beautiful, but the best part was the mini orchestra concert on row boats. Then we got in a row boat and they sailed us through the caves for just a minute, but it was beautiful!

I had a marvelous time at concilio!(Mission Council) The spirit was so strong. Thoughts and impressions were flowing and I really grew so much. We learned of leadership as a state of being not a position as well as member missionary work. (Please get involved. It is part of our covenant of baptism to share what we have been so blessed to know!)

And a miraculous trip to Barcelona. It literally felt like I was home. It was so good! I got to go out with my "baby" and her companion! I LOVE HERMANA NEY!!!!! After we got back to piso we played the guitar and made banana bread :) But before that, it was such a spiritual night and I got to see my old friends!!!! And got them to PROGRESS!!! And through the miracles of technology, I am able to continue with them! Willy finally set a date, and Carolina finally understands the essentiality of the Book of Mormon and the necessity of finding an answer!!! And Fernando is still working on those marriage papers.

Miracles here in the island: our friend who served in the Temple Square Mission introduced us to her friend Yuli on Sunday. She is from Bolivia, is in her 20s with a cute little 4 year old daughter and a heart searching for truth and searching for the gospel! She has a hard background with her family and is seeking a new start. It was so amazing to feel the spirit in that lesson and see her hope grow. She accepted to be baptized and we are hoping she makes it to church in Germany on her trip this weekend. She had so many questions, and we were able to help her a lot. Her closing prayer was so beautiful. She cried as she spoke with her Father in Heaven. The spirit was so strong.

I went on an intercombio (companion exchange) with Hermana Warburton and it was incredible. In the morning we didn't have any set citas (appointments) or anything and we were crossing a street and this crazy man stops us and tells us of his love for the US, then wanted to learn more about Christ so he took us to a bar and we taught him the Book of Mormon and as we were getting up to leave, the waitress comes up and excitedly asks, Are you mormons? and we said YES! And she told us of her friend who recently got married in the temple, so we testified about eternal families (my favorite topic) and invited her to learn more. She excitedly accepted. We passed her information to the Elders, and they set a cita for that night. Juliana and her 9 year old daughter will be baptized on the 10th of February!!! God's hand is always leading us to those who are prepared and them to us!

Our area is doing well! Anabelys is being difficult to stay in contact with, Neider is out of town, but we still have a pool that is growing everyday, and 2 little hermanas with a burning desire to work.

I love being a missionary!! I love the energy the spirit brings and being apart of the most exciting work there ever could be. I know I will be forever changed by this experience and I will forever be a missionary. I beg you all to go taste of the joy of the work and invite someone to church this week or to FHE or an activity and share the joy of the gospel. I promise it will only increase the joy that you have.

I love you all! Can't thank you enough for the love, support and letters. I am the most blessed missionary in the world!! Keep praying we find those prepared families :)
