Hello!!
Another marvelous week here in Palma! The sun is out (and people here are still in coats! Crazies haha.) It is still a little chilly, but all is well. And I get to stay here with Hermana Garcia (and Hermana Clegg and Warburton are staying too!!!) so I couldn't be happier. Our goal is to help someone be baptized every weekend of this transfer, and we know that with hard work and faith all is possible!
Miracles of the week:
Jesus. He just loves everything. He came to every session of General Conference including priesthood session and is so excited for the 14th. He just craves the spirit and just loved conference and is still loving the Book of Mormon and truly working on changing his life. It sure isn't easy, and Satan is working his hardest, but he isn't giving up. It is such an amazing blessing to see the gospel save his life. Literally.
Nahuel is an Argentinian man that is so fun to teach, but so hard at the same time. He is very inquisitive, but he truly has a desire to be a better man and to know more, and wow. He asks every question in the book, but the best is looking him straight in the eye and testifying and watching the gears turn and things click. He too came to a session of conference. I think he liked it, but that was his first time coming to the church. We see a lot of potential in him and he has been reading, so I am confident that the spirit will do the rest.
Leo will be getting baptized this Saturday, si o si! Family approval and all, he has the close, and we bought the ingredients for carrot cake (his favorite like me :)) and we are thrilled :) I just pray that witnessing his baptism, his family will be touched and will be fully supportive and spiritually moved themselves to come find the joy that we have been so blessed with.
A young man named Luis that I taught my first weeks here, who told us his seen enough and left, came back into the picture a few weeks ago. He is reading and really seeking an answer. We had a powerful lesson on how revelation comes and the power of the Book of Mormon. He read a big list of scriptures I thought would last him at least a week if not 2 in 2 days! And came to conference and said it answered some of his questions and that he really liked it.
God is bringing to pass so many wonderful works and I am grateful to be on the front lines bringing the gospel to all the world. The mission has really shown me the power of knowing that we have a living prophet with the power and authority to protect us in these dangerous times. I loved his invitation to seek personal revelation and am already feeling the blessings of stretching myself even more. I know God lives and calls a prophet today because of his love for us. I hope we all listen to him and build a safe harbor from the storms of satan.
I love you all!
(If you are near a temple I challenge you to make the sacrifice and go this week!!)
