Giggling and Working, two of my favorite things :)

Hello Family and Friends!

I have just had another spectacular, miracle-filled week! I just feel so incredible blessed and grateful to be here. And God´s hand is in every moment.

Today has been quite the adventure with an early morning trip to park guell, (if you get there before 8AM it´s free). Unfortunately we got destracted by the free part and didn´t make it in in time... But it is okay, because we made our way back down to one of my favorite parts of Barcelona: Gothic Quarter, went on top of the cathedral there, then met up with a bunch of Hermanas and we did a Labrinth, then we made our way over to the office, which is where I currently am. I love being so close. It really feels like coming home. Hermana Hargis makes me laugh so hard all the time, and she´s even more funny in english! We usually speak only spanish except preparation day, so we´ve just been laughing all day long.

She is also very spontaneous, while knocking a building and literally no one home. She had the brilliant idea to... well I let you look at the pictures and see. Haha. Joy in the work :)

As for miracles,

Virginia asked us, ¨So how can I be baptized?¨ My favorite question! We went through the interview questions. She is ready and excited. She is just passing through a very hard trail, and she wants to completely forgive those that have wronged her. We had everything planned Saturday August 4, and it was all announced, but then she came up to us and said I can´t, not yet. But in all honesty I am quite confident we may see a surprise baptism this next weekend. She has had all the lessons, and is reading diligently every night and loves church, has a great relationship with the members and they have been helping her so much!

I got to have an intercombio with my old companion Hermana Johnson here in L´Hospitalet, and that was so fun. The glory days!

Rita is fasting and praying and really working on getting a new piso and moving out so she can be baptized. She is remarkable and set her own goal to be baptized before the end of the year. She said, 'I just want to be baptized!!!' And she will. We fasted with her this week, and last time we did that, she got work off sundays two days after the fast. But it is all in God´s time.

Unfortunately we have not been able to see Nuria or Steven and it is killing me!

But we have been blessed to meet many new friends, our biggest struggle is getting the to follow through on their commitment to come to church. So we´ve been a lot more direct with love to help them understand the importance.

This week I really have been thinking about the power and delicacy of habits. It really forms us to be who we are. If we put God first everyday, we will become more and more like him everyday.

I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is only way to eternal happiness, and that daily repentance, study, trials and faith build us to be more than we could ever be, thanks to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I love Him!

I hope you all have the greatest week ever!
Love you!!

PS I´ll write Tuesday due to transfers :) We will see if I will have a new adventure for the next 6 weeks! Where ever I am I will give it my all!
