L´Milagralet

Hola cariños :)

This week was another marvelous week, and I am just so happy to be here! I was just giggling with my companion about her sun burn a few minutes ago and the spirit just touched my heart and I am just filled with gratitude to get to serve with her and to be in the greatest place with the greatest people doing the greatest work on earth! I just could not be happier!

Today we had a tri-zone activity. We just played volleyball, futbol and football, had a picnic and a great time! It was fun to reconnect with old companions, and just have fun.

My new mission president and his wife are amazing. I love the Galli´s and they are so fun to be around and very inspired. Once again, the Lord is moving forward his work. God doesn´t believe in complacency, that is why we are always changing callings and companions, and well just life circumstances, because if not we would never grow.

I had a very insightful contact on my hour long train ride to do an intercombio in Tarragona (a city about an hour south and absolutely stunning.) She was a catholic woman and we very openly and intellectually discussed the book of mormon and the restoration then she was just intriged by the whole mission and how it works. It was fun and quite funny to put myself in her shoes and see how strange we are to the world. But it really strengthened my testimony. And she took the Book of Mormon with great curiousity to see what it has to say. She thanked me graciously and as she left I just realized that the gift of tounges is real. It gives me all the words I need and I recognized how much I have grown in the language. It flowed naturally and matched her intelligent nature. I could not image the work with out the spirit.

Another gift of tongues miracle, I was asigned to speak in sacrament meeting last week but our bishopric was changed and the stake leaders spoke. (tender mercy because we arrived for the last 10 minutes thanks to our special sacrament meeting with the Oaks). So no one told me anything, but thankfully I followed the spirit and was prepared, but forgot my notes, and stood up, surprisingly with no fear whatsoever, and shared with confidence and ease what I had to say. Miracle.

We are seeing so many miracles in our area!

I mentioned Susana and her family. Well the two kids Steven and Nuria are incredible!! Steven´s mom, Lily (Susana´s sister) also is very excited to prepare for baptism. We followed the spirit several times and were able to see them twice this week and Steven and Nuria came with us to the ward activity and the baptism on Saturday. They loved the baptism and both talked about the feeling of peace they felt as they watched the three different people be baptized. Nuria is very excited to get an answer and Steven, too, is showing great progress. They weren´t able to make it to church which made us very sad, BUT it is all part of God´s plan.

Virginia is going strong. It was hard to meet with her this week and we are still hopeful she will be baptized this week! She is so ready, just needs a bit of confidence to take the step. She loved church once again and so did her 4 year old. :)

Rita is putting even more effort into reading and we will be fasting together this week to find a solution. She wants to be baptized so bad.

Much more is happening, but all in all, I am just happy to be here giving it my all and sweating like crazy in this humidity!

I know Christ is at the head of this Church and I know that the spirit is guiding our every step and I invite you all to pray specifically and let it guide you to those who need you and the gospel this week!
