Hello friends and family!

It is getting very very hot here. Wow. We are cooking. But we are also seeing so many miracles thanks to all the hard work and sweat :) Just passing through Barc, and doing some shopping for preparation day.

Virginia is progressing marvelously and is reading everyday. She is excited for the 21st and talks about how everytime we teach her it is like spiritual water and food. She didn't come to church yesterday and when we saw her last night, she was very repentant as we taught her about the importance of the church and the Plan of Salvation.

Miguel is also doing well and we had a very spiritual lesson with him in a members home. He is so worried for his family, and wants so badly that they will be in the celestial kingdom with me.

Walking down the street I felt the prompting to knock on a door, so we did and met Jose Luis. He was great and we gave him a book of mormon and set a cita and went on. Then we stopped and talked to this woman and offered to help with her bags and she takes us back to the very same door and invited us up for smoothies and a great plan of salvation lesson and Silvia is on her way to salvation. It was a beautiful miracle.

We had a sucessful Culture Night Activity!! It was slow to start, but many brought food, we did a dance, and enjoyed the many beautiful cultures here with more than 10 countries. Members brought friends and our investigators loved it.

 We had a brief Zone conference and met President and Hermana Galli. They are amazing and so funny. They both are marvelous examples and I am so greatful to get to meet and learn from them.

I had a very interesting contact this week. We contacted this man and he had so many half truths and he was interesting because he didn't fight. The spirit led me to share some scriptures with him and then he just looked at me and said, your countenance is white. He told us how he dreams with dead people and sees spirits before. Then he asked, "Has someone in your close family died recently? And I said, well my grandpa died before I was born. And he said, "He is right next to you." And I could just feel it. I knew he was there. Then he agreed to meet and wouldn't take a book of mormon because Grandpa was telling him someone else will need it more than both of us. Then I asked if I could give him one on friday and he said yes. It was really interesting and quite powerful to have that confirmation that Grandpa Read was right there helping me.

I love you all so much and invite you to bring a friend to church! You never know how they need it.
