Hola!

I am so grateful for Zone Conference and for President and Hermana Dayton. They are just incredible. The ayundantes came and taught about eradicating complacency. I have been reflecting about it a lot. This is my last week here in Valencia, (very rare in our mission to stay 4 transfers anywhere, so 5 is pretty imposible plus President told me. Tune in next week for where I am headed!) anyhow, I know these streets like the back of my hand and I love the people so much, but I never want to become comfortable, because when you are comfortable, you aren't progressing, and when your not progressing, you are regressing, SO I re-established my goals and I am working my hardest to make the best of every moment, not just about missionary work, but about who Hermana Read really is. :)

Edward is doing great. A bit of a drama with a piso, but we had an excellent cita with him on saturday. We talked about the rich man and what we have to leave behind to be true deciples of Christ. He has changed so much. He told us of how all of these people call and pound him every single day to not associate with us and especially not be baptized, but he told us how he knows it is the true church and how he will be faithful for the rest of his life.

Benjamin is a boy from Guinea Ecuatorial whose dad is a pastor in his country. We actually met him playing futbol about 2 months ago, and taught his sister then finally reconnected with him haha. He has gone to a plethera of churches, and is really seeking truth. He is reading the book of mormon and really wants to come to church, but it is quite far and he doesn't have a job. He is studying right now. His family moved pisos this week, and so he didn't make it to church with us, but I am very excited for him to come next week. I know he will love it and find the answers he is looking for. He has excellent potential.

Andrea, Maritza and Yosuart are all doing excellent! Andrea had a melt down this week, a lot of trials and challenges have been pounding her, and her dreams very very scary. And it was a beautiful moment to be a tool in God's hands to just hold her and let her cry, then the spirit just filled my mouth with the words and I don't remember what I said, but I remember just feeling that the spirit was working through me. The next day, her smile was back at full blast and her vivid, dark dreams were gone.

I love being a missionary and I love that everyday, everyweek, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I can become better. I am not perfect, but I am progressing and that is all God asks. I want to be Who He wants me to Be, so I can do what He wants me to do. Every day, and Forever.

Love you all!!
Praying for you!
Hermana Read
