Helllloooo!!!

Guess who is now best friends with the Llao llao (my favorite frozen yogurt that you always see pictures off haha!!!) owner here in Barcelona, gets discounts for everyone, and has an invite to come back and make my own Llao Llao with all I want on it for free on my birthday, that's right, this Hermana :) We played a form of dodge ball, but with bow and arrows instead today with our zone. Also, I love fall here, why? Because they sell baked sweet potatoes everywhere!! Looks like I just need to start carrying cinnamon around haha! It was way fun! And the work is going great!!

I know God answers prayers. We began to pray specifically to find those who are prepared to be baptized in November and December. Monday night, a short contact with Eduardo turned into the most prepared person I could imagine. He sits down on the park bench a few days later and tells us all about how he is trying to change his life and he told us how he saw the light that we have and he knew we were good. He is thoroughly prepared and we are so thrilled that now is his time. Just the other day he told us he has already read 20 pages in the Book of Mormon!! Because of his work schedule, he couldn't meet again or come to church, but he has a light about him and a hunger to know.

Then there is Carolina. She is from the DR and is going through a divorce. She came to church with us last week and we went and helped her fold her laundry later that evening in return. :) She is also extremely prepared! She is reading the Book of Mormon as well! Her obstacle right now is letting go of her upbringing, but if there is one thing I learned is that the gospel can only add to the knowledge she already has and will only bring greater joy. I know she will follow the answer she will receive. 

I love my companion! She is adorable and is so much fun to work with! One thing I am learning from her is that we are who we are for a divine purpose and that God can use us, though small and simple, for His grand purposes. She is a hard worker and is always looking for ways to enjoy the day and I love that! She has been struggling a bit to find herself in the work, but little be little I think she is finding it. I remember going through the same thing in my training. I love that we are a team and that we are totally comfortable and honest with one another.

This week in my personal studies, I discovered that the only difference between the wise man and the foolish man is that the foolish knew all the wise did, but he did not apply it. I know that as we not just listen, but as we APPLY and LIVE the gosple, that is when our natures change, our light grows, and we can go help more have the same JOY. There were a number of people on the streets that told us about the light we have and the noticible difference in our countence. 

"Let your light shine before all men that they may see your good WORKS and glorify your Father which is in Heaven."

I know by diligence and faith all is possible and that we each can make an impact in the lives of all around us.
