The Gospel of Jesus Christ is real. And so so true!
Before I forget. I have conference and interviews next week so I will be writing on Wednesday :)
Hello World!
I wish you could all be enjoying the beautiful Palma sun that decided to come out finally! Summer is coming and I can kick the tights! Woot woot!
We were truly guided and so blessed this week.
Shirley is a young woman from Peru that came to the cultural activity that we put together and church the following day. She has been in Germany, but out of the blue this week she reached out to us seeking for our help. We've been teaching through Video calls in WhatsApp and she is incredible. She is so close to the spirit and is absorbing everything. She denounced the Bible when she was 11 because people so distort the truth. But she loves what we have taught her and is so sincere in her prayers. She is seeking peace and light and I can tell she is hungry for it. She should be returning to Palma soon.
Leo is a 12 year old that comes to church on his own and brings his inactive grandma with him. His mom doesn't like churches and the Elders have been trying to meet with him, but turns out he lives in our area and will be baptized on the 24th!
We met Yasmin by doing a passby. She is one-month pregnant and so receptive. She just wants to have a strong family. We were able to come back and teach her and her sister in law and both for their first time in their life offered a prayer in their own words. It was so beautiful! That is always one of my favorite things: to see people overcome their fears, jump into the dark, and talk to their loving Heavenly Father.
Today we went and got our nails done by Yuliana (the woman that contacted us when I was on my intercombio with Hermana Warburton last transfer.) And it is incredible how she has seen the blessings in her life. She is so strong. She told us about how her daughter has also changed completely. She is 9 and loves the childrens book of mormon and sleeps better. And it is changing the heart of her military boyfriend. It is incredible! I just adore her and count her as my sister. She is so very dear to me!
I love Palma. It just gets prettier and better and I don't even know how it is possible. I love being a missionary and I treasure every moment. I am so grateful for the gospel and the restored church of Jesus Christ and I just pray everyone can open their heart, and let the love and light of God fill their soul and change their lives.
Love you all!
Your prayers are felt and so appreciated. You have no idea.
